This website and online store are operated by Candle Shack Ltd (“Candle Shack”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Our registered address is:

2. What these terms cover
By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our other policies referenced here (including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns & Refund Policy). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Note: We supply both businesses and consumers. If you’re a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK or EU law.
3. Using our site
You must be 18 or over to place orders.
Don’t misuse the site (e.g. upload malware, try to bypass security, infringe IP, or act unlawfully).
We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached.
4. Your account
Keep your login details secure and your information accurate. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
5. Orders & acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy; we accept when we send the dispatch confirmation.
We may refuse or cancel orders (for example, where items are out of stock, pricing is wrong, or we suspect fraud). If we’ve taken payment, we’ll refund it.
6. Prices, VAT & payment
Prices are shown on the product pages and at checkout. We may update prices at any time before acceptance.
UK orders: prices include VAT where applicable.
EU customers: please use our single Shopify Markets store for EU ordering. VAT handling is shown at checkout (add a valid VAT number to deduct VAT where applicable).
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when your order is placed.
7. Shipping & click and collect
Delivery options, costs, areas we serve, dispatch times and tracking are set out in our Shipping Policy.
We ship UK orders from our Scotland warehouse.
EU customers should order via our EU storefront. If you need an item only stocked in the UK, contact support@candle-shack.co.uk
— we can’t process those EU orders online and will advise next steps.
If you choose collection, we’ll email when your order is ready and provide collection times and location.
Risk in the goods passes to you when delivered/collected. Title passes when we receive full payment.
8. Returns, refunds & damages
Please see our Returns & Refund Policy for how to request a return, timeframes, exclusions (e.g. liquids and wicks), and how we handle damaged or missing items. This policy is part of these Terms.
9. Product information & suitability
We work hard to provide accurate descriptions, SDS/CLP guidance and usage tips. However, every maker’s process is different. You’re responsible for testing products in your own recipes and conditions to ensure suitability, safety and compliance with local laws and standards. Colours, batches and natural materials may vary slightly.
10. Professional use & safety
Many of our products (e.g. fragrance oils, solvents, waxes) require careful handling. Always read labels/SDS, follow usage rates and safety guidance, and store out of reach of children and pets. If you’re selling finished goods, it’s your responsibility to meet applicable labelling, safety and regulatory requirements.
11. Promotions & gift cards
Promotions, discount codes and gift cards can’t be exchanged for cash, may have expiry dates, and are subject to the terms stated in the offer. We can withdraw or refuse a promotion if it’s being misused.
12. Intellectual property
All content on our site (logos, images, text, designs) is owned by or licensed to Candle Shack. You may not copy or use it without our permission, other than for normal shopping and site use.
13. Third-party services & links
We use Shopify to power our store and other trusted providers for payments, delivery and analytics. We’re not responsible for third-party websites you access via links; please check their terms and policies.
14. Limitation of liability
We don’t exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill).
For business customers, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned.
15. Warranties
Except as expressly stated, our products and services are provided “as is”. We don’t promise they’ll meet your specific requirements without proper testing and validation in your process.
16. Force majeure
We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, strikes, carrier issues, raw-material shortages, extreme weather).
17. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the site or our products for unlawful purposes; to infringe IP rights; to harass, defame or discriminate; to introduce malware; to scrape or mine data; or to bypass security.
18. Privacy & cookies
Your personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and why, including cookies and marketing preferences.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies when you use the site or place an order. We’ll show a “last updated” date at the top.
20. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising out of them are governed by Scottish law, and the courts of Scotland have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer resident in the UK or EU, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
