6213 Container Wax, Paraffin Wax | Candle Shack

HYWAX 6213 is a mineral container wax with a smooth, creamy look and a reputation for consistency. It holds fragrance well and gives a strong scent throw with excellent burn quality. That’s why it’s widely used by professional candle makers across Europe.

This wax does tend to shrink as it cools, so it isn’t ideal for single pours. For best results, warm your glasses to around 40°C before pouring, then flash-heat the surface or use a heat gun once the candles have set for a clean, flat finish.

We suggest a two-stage curing process: around two days before wick testing, followed by 7–14 days for the fragrance to fully develop.

Like most mineral waxes, it doesn’t give strong adhesion to glass, so it works best in opaque containers.
