Our range includes plant-based options, such as EcoSystem RCX (a rapeseed and coconut blend, exclusive to Candle Shack) and Golden Wax EU464 (a soy and coconut wax produced by AAK in Karlshamn, Sweden). Both were co-developed in partnership with our R&D lab, and both are manufactured at world-class European facilities with food-grade process standards.
We also stock paraffin and hybrid waxes for makers who prefer mineral-based formulations, as well as soy wax options and specialist blends for different candle formats. Whether you are making clean-burning container candles, wax melts, or pillar candles, we carry a wax that suits your application.
Several waxes we sell come with tested recipes developed in our own laboratory, specifying wick selection, fragrance load, pouring temperature, and cure time. These are not theoretical suggestions. Wholesale Candle Jars and Glassware

Candle Wicks: Converted In-House
Candle Shack is a wick converter, not just a reseller. We receive raw cotton wick on spools from Monterosa (Italy) and Wedo (Germany), then wax, degas, cut, and crimp every cotton wick at our facility in Scotland. We are also an official distributor of Lumetique wooden wicks from the USA.
Our proprietary degassing process ensures the stabilising wax fully penetrates the wick braid, eliminating air pockets that cause inconsistent flames and wick lean. Every cotton wick ships with a 6.4mm safety sustainer as standard, nearly double the 3.4mm industry norm, so your candles self-extinguish safely. We also pull-test every production batch to verify crimp integrity.
We stock ten families of cotton wicks and a full range of wooden wicks, with custom cut lengths available from a minimum order of 1,000 units. Our production capacity supports everything from small packs of 20 right through to orders of tens of thousands of wicks per month for larger manufacturers.
Fragrance Oils Developed with World-Class Perfumers
Our fragrance oils are developed in collaboration with world-class perfumers and go through a rigorous pre-launch process that includes lab testing and real-world evaluation. Stock availability: We carry large volumes of inventory at both our UK (Scotland) and EU (Netherlands) warehouses. Lead times are typically short because we hold stock, rather than ordering to demand.
Delivery options: We ship across the UK and Europe at every scale. Small orders go by parcel through DPD. Larger orders ship by pallet through our established haulier network. For the largest customers, we regularly dispatch multiple pallets per delivery to manufacturers across the UK and Europe. Collection is also available from our loading docks at both UK and EU warehouses.
An In-House R&D Lab and Testing Facility

Our lab develops the recipes that accompany our waxes and fragrances, each one burn-tested and validated before publication. We also offer laboratory services to external brands, including bespoke recipe development, fire safety testing to BS EN 15493:2019, and sooting behaviour testing to BS EN 15426:2018. We have helped luxury brands bring candle ranges to market and supported wax manufacturers in developing and validating new products.
