Nature Wax C-3 is a 100% soy wax, ideal for container candles. It burns cleanly with minimal shrinkage and comes in easy-to-measure flakes. To improve adhesion, pre-heating the jars before pouring is recommended. This wax provides an excellent scent throw with both fragrances and essential oils, featuring a creamy white appearance that may show slight white frosting (bloom) when dyes are applied.

Wick
RAL-accrediated TCR wicks are meticulously crafted by Monterosa from unbleached cotton, intricately interwoven with a delicate paper thread and encased in a protective outer jacket. To ensure optimal performance, the wicks are then expertly waxed and crimped by Candle Shack in Scotland.
Usage Recommendations
We recommend working at an ambient temperature of 20-25°C
We recommend heating NatureWax C-3 to 65-70°C before adding fragrance oil.
Add the fragrance oil at 65-70°C and stir until homogeneous.
When the mixture has cooled to 65°C, the candles can be poured
Containers should be at room temperature.
If the top is uneven once set, you can flash the surface with a heat gun.
During wick optimisation and testing, allow the candle to cure for at least 48h at ambient temperature before lighting.
A curing time of 7 – 14 days will give an increased scent throw.
Disclaimer
Each report shows test results for a set of candles made by Candle Shack’s R&D team for that particular recipe. The test reports are not a guarantee that all candles made to the recipe will burn in exactly the same way. Variables such as ambient temperature, air flow, or the manufacturing process can affect the burning profile of a candle, so it is recommended that candle makers conduct their own testing to ensure that they are satisfied with the performance of their product.
