The fragrance is (1) initially characterised by the fruity sweetness of mandarin, warmed by fresh fiery ginger, evoking excitement and elegance as the first guests enter the ornate garden while the sun dips low on the horizon. Their hopes for a spectacular ball (2) tinges the air with a spicy heart that is as opulent as it is thrilling. Warm clove twirls around sweet cinnamon and dark anise in a well-practised dance of drama and desire. Finally, a (3) warm, inviting base of velvety peach and heady musk hints at the smooth amber drinks served to bejewelled guests, completing this fragrance of the season.
