Dark. Mysterious. Utterly bewitching.
This is the scent of old magic and candlelit rooms.
It opens with elemi and saffron, resinous and smoky, like incense burning in a room full of secrets. Rose drifts through underneath, not soft and pretty but deep and slightly dangerous. Then the heart unfolds slowly. Oud and sandalwood, dark and ancient. Davana and tuberose, heady and intoxicating. Vetiver pulling everything down into something earthy and untamed.
The base is where it casts its spell. Ambergris radiates a warmth that feels almost supernatural. Patchouli roots it to the earth. Musk lingers on the air long after you think it should have gone.
Just a side a side note, the Ambergris is synthetic and not real Ambergris.
