Product Details

Made from 100% natural, responsibly sourced soy, S41 contains no GMOs, synthetic additives, or toxic substances. AAK’s strong sustainability standards ensure this wax is produced with care for both people and the planet.

Originally developed for large-scale candle makers, S41 delivers excellent performance, with smooth burning and easy wicking. Like many soy waxes, it can sometimes show polymorphism (surface frosting or mottling), especially on resets. This can be managed with careful temperature control or reduced by blending with 30–50% mineral wax. S41 also mixes particularly well with CS1, a combination favoured by many large producers.

For best results, allow a 2-day initial cure at ambient temperature, followed by 7–14 days to develop full scent throw.

have to take time with this wax or you will have problems , it does not like draughs , it does not like being in a cold room , pour it at the correct temp, and it will be fine

I am sad to say I really did not work well with this wax. Having used the American Golden Wax and the EcoSystem SCX I was impressed with the claim that this was even better performing than the American version. My biggest issue was I just could not get consistent results with smooth tops. I made 4 batches for 60 candles and only one batch was smooth and I had to salvage the rest. The extremely low pour point (30-34 degrees) is not forgiving and temperamental. Of the two Golden Wax options I prefer to use the American made one as it has an easier pour point but my favourite wax is the EcoSystem SCX…I will never stray from it again!
