Important Update on Product Quality
The 5-star reviews are for the old wood wick sustainers that Candle Shack used to sell. Unfortunately, they have now switched to a new version that is very poor quality.
The new sustainers are extremely cheap, bend very easily, and cause the wood wicks to sit crooked instead of straight. This is a major issue for candle making and affects the final product significantly.
I’m really disappointed that they discontinued the previous model because those were excellent. I had been purchasing them regularly from Candle Shack without any problems. I wasn’t aware of this change when I placed my order, and now I’m stuck with 1,000 sustainers that I won’t use.
These should not have been put on the market in their current state. Sadly, I now need to find a better alternative.
Do not waste your money.
